Debra has been practicing for over 20 years. Ten years of that was spent in Albuquerque, New Mexico working with deaf children in the 5-10 year age group. In 1995 Debra moved to Lumberton and has worked in private practices.
Debra’s own son struggled with dyslexia beginning in second grade. Watching him struggle and the drive to see him succeed motivated her to pursue the link between speech and reading disorders. Debra truly believes that cognitive skills training techniques will revolutionize the way we look at learning.
